RA #103 - Putting in the reps for overnight success

The other day I posted the following picture because I was struggling to come up with some content to feed the never-satiated social media beast:

With no thought or strategy to it whatsoever, I posted that image and the following words:

“I’m thinking about firing up the Etsy store again. Here are some concept pieces: basically Orthodox dog tags and a simple cross necklace. Thoughts?”

The result was 234 likes, 47 comments, 10 bookmarks, more than a hundred new followers, and several sales. The time, the audience, and the product all aligned perfectly for a moment.

I had another light bulb moment about a month ago when I decided to force myself to publish something every day. For several days I kept it up and—you’re not going to believe this—the metrics went up BIGLY.
