Sunset Drive with Seraphim Rose

As I’ve mentioned a few times in this publication, the sunrises and sunsets in Oklahoma grab you by the collar and force you to stop and look. I’ve probably lost years on my truck’s life because, while the solar spectacles are among the best in the world, the roads are among the worst. I’ll be lost in thought until ka-THUNK!

And now I have a new rattle…

I was lost in thought while coming back from an errand-run yesterday. The whole Orthodox ethos is about controlling one’s thoughts, but fatigue overwhelmed my barricades, and I was in worry mode. It was like that meme you might have seen floating around:

That was me. And if I’m being honest, this was more of the genesis of that short video up above. However, I had recently read something by Seraphim Rose, so that made it into this short.

It’s a trifle. A lark. A bit of busyness that felt like work. But it was fun to make and I’ll probably do more.
